Boston rowing group books live auctioneer Andy Saks again

Boston, MA — For the second year in a row, Community Rowing, Inc. has booked Spark live auctioneer Andy Saks for its annual fundraising event.

Titled “Raise Your Oars for CRI 2015 Benefit Auction,” the event will take place at CRI’s headquarters in Brighton, MA on Saturday, April 11.

As the event’s live auctioneer, Saks is tasked with various duties before and during the event, including: advising CRI on item order, starting bids and bidding increments; writing a word-for-word script to introduce each auction item; and polishing auction slides for maximum impact.

In addition to the live auction, the event will appetizers, a silent auction, various fundraising games, music and speeches by CRI officers.

This is the fourth time a Boston-area nonprofit has booked a Spark live auctioneer for its auction. In 2011 and 2012, the Boston Jewish Film Festival also booked a Spark live auctioneer for its annual Fall Gala.
