Wellesley, MA — Temple Beth Elohim in Wellesley, MA, has booked Spark live auctioneer Andy Saks to run its “raise your paddle” event in its annual fundraiser.

The “raise your paddle event” provides the opportunity for donors to give at several different dollar levels. Each dollar level is often tied to a specific need within the organization.

Temple Beth Elohim is a community with a diverse population of over 1,200 families from more than 37 communities throughout Greater Boston. It is affiliated with the Union of Reform Judaism.

Saks has served as live auctioneer for other organizations in New England, including the YMCA of New Canaan, CTNewbury College, the Boston Jewish Film FestivalCommunity Rowing, Inc., and Boston Workmen’s Circle.

Boston, MA — For the second year running, the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, or MSPCC, has booked Spark owner Andy Saks to serve as its live auctioneer for its annual fundraiser.

Titled “Turning Points: An Evening to Benefit MSPCC,” the event will take place at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel in Boston, Massachusetts in April, 2019.

MSPCC booked Andy Saks as its live auctioneer for its “Turning Points” fundraiser.

In his live auctioneer role, Saks will:

— write a word-for-word script for each auction item and for a “paddle raise” (fund-the-need) segment

— advise MSPCC on auction item order and pricing

— create a matching, animated slide deck for each auction item

— make announcements and introduce guest speakers

Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is a private, non-profit society dedicated to leadership in protecting and promoting the rights and well-being of children and families. MSPCC supports pregnancy and parenting support, clinical mental health counseling and care coordination, adoptive and foster parent support, and adoption services. As a division of Eliot Community Human Services, its services are part of a continuum of care committed to the unique needs of a child and his or her family.

Saks has served as live auctioneer for other organizations in New England, including the YMCA of New Canaan, CTNewbury College, the Boston Jewish Film FestivalCommunity Rowing, Inc., and Boston Workmen’s Circle.

The event will be produced by Simple Details Events, based in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts.

Natick, MA — For the third year in a row, the Riverbend School of Natick, Massachusetts, has booked Spark live auctioneer Andy Saks to work its gala event.

This annual fundraiser will take place at the Sheraton Hotel in Needham, Massachusetts in March, 2019.
